Experience some ‘Spooktacular Fun’ on October 27; Historic Owego Marketplace presents Halloween Fest

The Historic Owego Marketplace is preparing for its 3rd Annual Halloween Fest, set to take place from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Owego. Halloween Fest promises an evening of ghoulish delights and bewitching entertainment for visitors of all ages. This spooktacular celebration will include a costume parade, with attendees encouraged to don their most creative and captivating costumes as there will be prizes.

There will be plenty of Trick-or-Treating too! Collect sweet treats from local businesses and street vendors throughout downtown Owego. Select stores will also have some sweet deals for shoppers.

DJ Bob Russell will be spinning some Halloween classics and there will be non-profit, craft and food vendors on Lake Street. There will be delicious treats to satisfy any monster-sized appetite.

There will also be a Creepy Cocktail Contest for some adult entertainment. Visit local bars and coffee shops and enjoy creepy cocktails and mocktails, if you dare. Then vote for your favorite and see who will get bragging rights as the best pumpkin in the patch? 

This year’s Halloween Fest would not be possible without the support and involvement of its dedicated community partners, local businesses and volunteers who have come together to create a truly memorable experience for everyone. 

So mark your calendars for Oct. 27 in downtown Owego. This spine-chilling event is free to attend and will provide the perfect opportunity for families, friends and neighbors to come together and celebrate the magic of Halloween.
