Early last week, high winds wreaked havoc in the region, downing power lines and trees and leaving many without power for days. In fact, some remained without power as late as Thursday throughout the state and region as crews worked to clean up the mess.
One Owego resident went outside to find a tree had landed on their pickup truck, while others worked to pile up branches and other debris damaged by the high winds.
