Owego Police Department Report

The following is Owego Police Department activity from Jan. 21, 2013 through Feb. 6, 2013.

Officers of the Owego Police Department have arrested Muranda Warden, age 31 of Owego, N.Y., on six counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony, one count of Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, one count of Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and three counts of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor. The arrests come from numerous burglary investigations. Muranda Warden has been arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and is currently remanded to Tioga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date. Additional investigations are continuing.

On Jan. 22, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Sean Prahm, age 29, and Shannon Prahm, age 29, of Owego, N.Y. on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor. The arrests come from an investigation of Sean Prahm and Shannon Prahm leaving a hypodermic syringe that was used for the purpose of injecting illegal drugs within the reach of a baby. Sean Prahm was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and committed to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond and Shannon Prahm was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On Jan. 28, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Lucas Radcliffe, age 28, of Spencer, N.Y. on an outstanding Arrest Warrant that was issued by the Village of Owego Court for Lucas Radcliffe’s failure to appear on a Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Lucas Radcliffe was also charged with Failing to Respond to an Appearance Ticket, a violation. Lucas Radcliffe was arraigned in Village of Owego Court and was released on his own recognizance and is to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On Jan. 30, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested a female, age 16, of Owego, N.Y. on a charge of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanors. The arrest comes from an investigation of the female stealing a cellphone while in school. An appearance ticket was issued to the female to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On Feb. 1, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Jayme Hanousek, age 30, of Owego, N.Y. on charges of Petit Larceny and Making a Punishable False Written Statement, both charges are Class A Misdemeanors. The arrest comes from an investigation of Jayme Hanousek stealing property from another person. Jayme Hanousek was issued appearance tickets to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On Feb. 1, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Brandon Swansbrough, age 18, of Candor, N.Y. on a charge of Assault in the 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. The arrest comes from an investigation of Brandon Swansbrough punching another individual in the face. Brandon Swansbrough was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On February 5, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Ian Webster, age 23, of Owego, N.Y. on a charge of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor. The arrest comes from an investigation of Ian Webster stealing a wallet from another individual. Ian Webster was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date.

On February 5, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Timothy Ryder, age 20, of Barton, N.Y. and several juveniles from Owego in reference to them entering an apartment without permission and damaging property inside. Timothy Ryder was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree and Petit Larceny, both Class A Misdemeanors, and the juveniles were charged with Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, both Class A Misdemeanors. Timothy Ryder was issued appearance ticket to appear in Village of Owego Court at a later date and the juveniles were issued Juvenile appearance tickets for them to appear in Tioga County Family Court at a later date.

On Feb. 5, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested Frank Swansbrough, age 37, of Candor, N.Y. on charges of Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, all Class A Misdemeanors, and on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, both Violations. The arrest comes from an investigation of Frank Swansbrough creating a disturbance at an address on Spencer Avenue. Frank Swansbrough was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and committed to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash/$2,000.00 bond.

On Feb. 6, 2013, Officers of the Owego Police Department arrested 16 year old male, of Owego, N.Y. on charges of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. The arrest comes from an investigation of the 16 year old male entering a residence and damaging property.
