Photos: Firefighters respond to early morning fire
On March 1, at 1 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire that broke out in the second floor of 20 Academy St. in Owego, N.Y. According to witnesses at the scene, flames were racing up the sides of the house when the first responders arrived on the scene.
There were no injuries reported, although EMS personnel treated an elderly woman from a nearby residence. Other departments that responded included Tioga Center and Campville. The Owego Police Department and Tioga County Sheriff Deputies were also at the scene to assist.
There is no further information for this reporting.
