Girls can celebrate Halloween at Roberson

Ever wonder if the Roberson Mansion is haunted? Girls in fourth through eighth grades will be able to try to find out by taking “haunted” mansion tours and hearing about actual accounts of creepy experiences in the mansion. Girls will also take part in a Halloween art activity, visit the mad scientist’s lab, and take in a special planetarium show at the Halloween Spooktacular at the Roberson Museum and Science Center. The program is taking place Oct. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. New members are welcome and pre-registration is required.

The cost to attend is $9 per girl and $8 per extra adult. Leaders within girl to adult ratio are free. The registration deadline is Oct. 11. Girls who are not already Girl Scout members can attend by paying the additional $15 Girl Scout membership fee. Financial assistance for membership is available.

To register contact Danielle Britton at the Roberson Museum and Science Center at (607) 772-0660, ext. 240 or
